Anita Cornelius is an accomplished senior living executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in senior housing, assisted living, memory care, and healthcare operations. She currently serves as Regional Assisted Living Director with Ebenezer, providing operational and strategic leadership across multiple senior living communities in Minnesota.

Throughout her career, Anita has held executive and regional leadership roles with organizations including Alterra Healthcare, The Waters Senior Living, Walker Methodist, Tealwood Senior Living, and Sunrise Senior Living. Her experience spans operations, organizational leadership, sales and business development, financial performance, quality improvement, and the development of high-performing teams.

Anita is a Licensed Assisted Living Director, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and Certified Dementia Practitioner. She has also served as a Senior Examiner for the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program and has been actively involved with Leading Age of Minnesota, serving as Education Committee Member and Care Providers of Minnesota, previously serving as Region 6 Coordinator and as a member of its Housing & Community-Based Services Cabinet Committee.

A longtime advocate for older adults and those who serve them, Anita has supported the Alzheimer’s Association as a support-group facilitator and member of its Speakers Bureau. Her professional and community involvement has also included board and committee leadership and service through Rotary.
