Joey Zimmerman is a Partner and Senior Project Manager at Zimmerman Commercial Construction, where he leads the delivery of complex commercial construction and tenant improvement projects. With nearly three decades of experience in the industry, Joey brings deep expertise in pre-construction planning, value engineering, and project execution, helping clients and teams navigate every phase of a project with clarity and confidence.

Known for his hands-on, people-first approach, Joey is a boots-on-the-ground leader who keeps project moving forward efficiently while fostering strong collaboration among all stakeholders. His ability to simplify complexity and proactively solve challenges has made him a trusted partner across a wide range of commercial developments.

A graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, Joey’s work ethic and practical mindset were shaped early on growing up on a small dairy farm near Courtland, Minnesota – an experience that continues to influence his disciplined, solutions-oriented leadership style today.

Outside of work, Joey is a devoted husband to his wife, Molly, and a proud father to his daughters, Gabi and Dani. He’s also an avid outdoorsman and dedicated hunter who values time in the woods each fall to recharge and stay grounded.
