Josh Berger
Director of Development – Midwest
Woodbury Corporation
Josh Berger is Director of Development for Woodbury Corporation's Midwest office, bringing more than 20 years of experience in real estate development. His expertise spans the full life of a project, from master planning and programming through design, development, and construction management.
Josh has led and contributed to projects across the Midwest in nearly every sector: university and research park development, historic renovations, urban infill, single-family and multifamily housing, student housing, parking structures, retail, hospitality, and restaurants.
He first joined Woodbury in 2008, stepped away in 2011 to broaden his experience, and later returned. Today he evaluates development opportunities, identifies investments, and finds ways to add value to new and existing properties.
Josh's background gives him an unusual perspective on every project. He is a licensed real estate agent and a licensed journeyman electrician, and he holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in design from the Kansas City Art Institute, so he understands a building from the market side, the construction side, and the design side.
