Speaker Bio
Ann Schrempp is an aging services professional with more than 15 years of experience developing programs and practices that improve quality of life for older adults living in senior living communities. As Dimensions Coordinator at Ebenezer, she provides leadership, education, and consultation to more than 60 memory care communities, supporting the development of dementia care practices, staff education, resident engagement, and meaningful programming. Her background includes leading lifelong learning, intergenerational and evidenced-based therapeutic initiatives and programs across skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, adult day, and independent living settings, as well as developing trusted and longstanding community partnerships with organizations such as MacPhail Center for Music, Northern Clay Center, Timeslips, and the Skylark Opera.

Ann is particularly interested in how memory care can move beyond a traditional “activities” model to create environment and experience that reflect the individual needs, abilities, interests, and relationships of people living with dementia and those that care for them. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Minnesota and is a graduate of the LeadingAge Minnesota Leadership Academy Fellowship Program.
