Erica Dunlap brings over 16 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with a diverse background spanning architecture, construction, and brokerage at several global firms. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Professional Studies from Georgetown University. 

After working in Washington DC, she returned to the Metro Detroit area where she focused on portfolio management and corporate services, and then transitioned into brokerage. In 2017, Erica partnered with Angela Thomas on a transformative project in Birmingham, where a prominent property had the potential to be leased as either a retail or office; this experience solidified their shared vision and laid the foundation for their business philosophy: specializing in Downtown real estate with a focus on mixed-use developments.

That vision was further cemented in December 2022, when the two co-founded AERES Real Estate, a female-led brokerage built to challenge industry norms and deliver results across retail, office, and industrial sectors. Most recently, their team successfully closed one of the top industrial assignments in the Midwest in 2024.

Outside the office, Erica enjoys all things sports with her husband, their three sons, and their two spirited [female] French bulldogs.
