As Executive Vice President, Development at Focus, Justin is responsible for all real estate development activities and leads a diverse and experienced development team adept at navigating complex real estate matters, including entitlements, public policy, detailed budgeting, architectural design coordination, and construction oversight.

In addition to his day-to-day leadership responsibilities, Justin is specifically focused on identifying new development opportunities and leading key partner relationships.

Before joining Focus, Justin practiced as a commercial architect. His design background, combined with his business mindset, informs his approach to all of Focus’ pursuits. Justin and his team pride themselves on their ability to effectively manage complex approval processes in markets with high barriers to entry. The team’s track record demonstrates its success navigating challenging development environments in communities including Chicago, Lake Forest, Vernon Hills, Oak Park, and others.
